Packing and unpacking, done properly
Pack everything yourself, have us pack everything, or hand us only the fragile and time-consuming rooms. We bring the materials and the crew, and we can unpack and remove the boxes at the other end.
How packing & unpacking works with Heartline
Packing is where most damage happens, so it is where the right materials matter most. Dish packs for the kitchen, picture boxes for art and mirrors, wardrobe boxes for closets, and anti-static wrap for electronics.
Partial packing is the most common choice: you handle books and linens, we handle the kitchen, glassware, art and electronics. Unpacking puts everything on counters and shelves and takes the empty boxes away.
Best for
- Kitchens and glassware
- Art, mirrors and electronics
- Busy households short on time
Can I have you pack only some rooms?
Yes. Partial packing is the most common option. Most people hand us the kitchen, the fragile items and the electronics and pack the rest themselves.
Do you supply the boxes and materials?
Yes. Boxes, paper, tape, bubble wrap and specialty boxes are included in packing service and listed in your estimate.
When does packing happen?
Usually the day before the move for a full pack, or the morning of the move for a partial pack. Your coordinator will schedule it with you.
