Apartment moving without the surprises

Apartments come with stairs, elevators, tight hallways and building rules. We plan for all of it and coordinate with your building so the crew can work when they arrive.

How apartment moving works with Heartline

Tell us about the building when you request a quote: floor, elevator access, loading dock, parking, and any move-in windows or certificate of insurance requirements. We take care of the paperwork and schedule the crew around the rules.

On the day, the crew protects common areas as well as your unit, moves efficiently through narrow spaces, and gets your furniture reassembled and placed in the new apartment.

Best for

  • Walk-ups and high-rises
  • Buildings with move-in rules
  • Studio to three-bedroom apartments

Questions

Apartment moving questions

More answers are on the main FAQ, or call and ask.

Does my building need a certificate of insurance?

Many do. Tell us the building name and management contact when you book and we will send the certificate directly to them before the move.

Do stairs cost extra?

Stairs and long carries add time, and that time is included in your written estimate so there is nothing added on the day.

Can you work within an elevator reservation window?

Yes. Tell us the window and we will size the crew so the move fits inside it.
